Does anyone have any idea how I can create a drop down menu for this WP template? It’s for my blogroll!any takers? YES!!!! As usual, LB came to the rescue. Although this is not a WP plugin, it will have to do for now. Who would have thougth that I’d end up with SO many blogs to hop around to???

O my Lord!!what a freaking hot day it was!!! I sure hope I lost a few pounds from all this liquid that has been oozing outta me since this morning. Yioh!..*am still sweating while typing out this post*

It’s my 4th day off and FINALLY it’s borne some fruit. I finally had a reason to go out and I did. It was an open house lunch invitation at Ming’s place, in Penang. Now, as excited as I was to meet up with my old gang (the last I saw these guys was some 5 or 6 years ago), I was slightly put off about the driving from Kulim to Penang only because it is Chinese New Year and I had been forewarned. But for friendship sake, I took the risk and damn, I’m so glad I did! Going to Penang was a breeze and the traffic!omg, simply superb. Smooth sailing is really an understatement. Gimme this kinda traffic anytime and I would gladly travel daily to Penang to work ~ seriously!

Upon arriving at Ming’s, Ravin, Doug & me (& Ming) stuffed our faces with the scrumptious food Ming’s mum cooked. This was my FIRST decent meal after 4 days of doing nothing at home. If you can still remember, I stayed home the whole 4 days doing nothing but sleep, watch TV/DVDs, eat junk food/biscuits/oranges and surfing the net (this include the blogging and blog hopping of course). After that, it was time to GAMBLE!! What is Chinese New Year without the money making/losing session huh? Now, if y’all didn’t know, I’ve got arse luck!tis true. My gambling luck is next to nil and when I gamble, I gamble till I use up whatever capital I first put in. Normally I’d start with RM10 and as always, I’d lose it all within minutes. BUT this year has proven to be a VERY lucky year for me. HAH! Yours truly won!..

RM15!!!!! Excluding my capital of RM5, ok?? :cool: Dun laugh lar weii!..for me to win RM15 bucks is like winning a million, ok? I couldn’t believe it myself until I counted my winnings just now ~ simply amazing!! First time I’ve ever made that much money. And the betting was at RM1 so you can see why I didn’t really make much lar. Haha!.but it was all in good fun.

You know how pissed women get when men forget their names after sometime? I’ve never had that problem before so I never knew!until today that is. Hari (also part of the gang) came right after we had lunch. No one knew that I was coming and it was kind of a surprise that Ravin and I planned at the spur of the moment, for these guys. Ming was surprised, Doug was too when they saw me and although they had forgotten my name (Idiots!), they admitted it and blamed it on the years that we had been apart (Uh-huh!.yea right!). But Hari!oooo, that man was sleek as sleek could be. Lol!he walked in, saw he, stated his surprised!.came right at me with open arms, hugged me, then greeted me, �€œHeeeeyyyyyyy!!Abigail!!! Long time no see!.!!!�€� I was like, wtf?? He was SO confident in announcing my name that I just had to hear him said it confidently again, �€œHappy New Year lar! How are you lar Abigail!??�€� I couldn’t take it anymore, Ravin and I burst out laughing!! Hari looked confused and when I said, �€œHello fren!.who is Abigail? I’m not Abigail lar dear!.It’s Yvy.�€� Aiyooo!.his face ~ priceless coz he was SO malufied/shy. LOL!.aiyooo, to think I called these monkeys my friends. BUT I’m a very forgiving and understanding person. *ahem* I realized the amount of brain cells which had been sacrificed and destroyed from all the clubbing and partying so, all is forgiven and we are now ONE at last. Farouk was the last to come and he too, was no better than the others. The ONLY one who remembered my name was Ravin. Truly a good ‘brother’ indeed after all these years.

We were supposed to meet up again tonight for a session of bonding or what normal people would call clubbing. Sadly, I didn’t want to take the risk again coz on the way back to Kulim from Penang this evening (about 4.30pm), the opposite side of the bridge (the one going INTO Penang) was jammed packed!! I was no way willing to take that kinda risk so I had to scrape the plan off. I’m a little upset about it but there will be other times now that I’m back in the gang. Can’t say how over the moon I am to finally meet up with the friends I used to hang out with during college. Simply priceless!

Tomorrow!.last day of my long holidays and I sudden realized that it’s going to be back to the grind again for me. As icky as it sounds, I can’t wait to get back to work! I would have enjoyed this holiday a lot if I had planned to go somewhere & do stuff but when you’re stuck at home doing nothing, going back to work is the next best thing ~ at least it is for me. I know there are not many sane people who think or feel like I do, but I know you’re out there. Somewhere.

*Ooooooo, did I also tell you that I have TWO ang pows/red money packets?????? Happy Yvy!.
