The grass is always green on my side.

What 3 men and a lady did to me

What an awesome night! It was fantastic….it was orgasmic……it was uplifting and I felt like as if angels from heaven were playing their instruments just for me. :daydream: [Leonard is CUTE!!!!! :daydream: :daydream: :daydream: Tall dark n HANDSOME....literally.]

Now, now….before you get your panties wet with delight and all sorts of naughty thoughts flying through the air like daggers, it is not what you think. At all.

Ted, together with 2 of his friends and I went to a concert of a special sort. This is not the kind where you get mossed or have the artists throwing themselves unto their fans hoping that the fans will break their fall, which the fans normally do but that is not the point. The point it this concert was the first one I’ve ever gone to and I can see myself looking forward to going again. It was a date with Saffire, the Australian guitar quartet. It was worth every dollah we paid, right to the very last cent!

I wasn’t really looking forward to going but it was something that I knew Ted wanted to do and I guess it was about time we spent some time out at night in the city. So after picking Prez up at 5pm, we drove into the city and parked. We were lucky to get that last parking spot, really. But being so early and the doors only opened 15min to 8pm, we together with Prez’s brother, Gus [I think] took a walk to find a bar. What shitty luck for me that I just had to wear my boots!! Although I looked to kill, I felt like killing myself. It’s a whole lot tougher walking downhill than uphill in boots and I learnt that yesterday. :grouch: And to make matters worst, many bars were not opened to the public and so we had to go hunting for a bit when we FINALLY found something to park our butts.

Yesterday, I had a lot of beers. Much more than I could ever imagine and I think I’m beginning to like it! [Oh no.....I've got the beer bug!!!! *hic*] I had like 3 shots yesterday which is a lot for one who doesnt like beer! I wasnt able to even finish one mug sometime ago….sheesh, this isnt good news I think. Anyways, by 7.30pm we were back at the Conservatorium and they opened the doors to the hall at 7.45pm.

8pm sharp, we heard the side door open and out marched 4 pleasant looking people who took their places, got comfortable, tuned up and started playing their guitars. It was then that I felt the doors of heaven open and the angels must have come down to caress and pluck those strings with such passion and emotion that I was totally sucked into it. I was literally lifted off my seat and I had goosebumps all over. It was really quite an experience and is one that I’m not going to forget for awhile. I was totally caught off guard and if you like music from the Renaissance era and into the mesmerising sounds of the guitar, you’ll be jiggying with this act!

I totally recommend this night out with these very talented artists. I couldnt believe how fast their fingers moved over the length of the guitar neck and how they practically played their fingers off. Karin is simply SUPER!! They all are really!!! It’s really amazing….:kowtow: Their next concert is at Canberra but the whole list is here. If you’re in the area, you must go watch it!! If not, buy their album lor….

if looks could kill (in a good sense), I think you’d have done a great job with those boots! hmmm, might do a search for Saffire songs now, just to see what gave you all those goosebumps… *grin*
