Introducing Kofi Haven

This goes out especially to those who love food and enjoy sampling new restaurants and cafes. Together with some friends, my uncle has opened a cafe in AutoWorld [also known as AutoCity] in Seberang Perai called Kofi Haven. Since I just came back from Sydney and the cafe is relatively new, about 2 months now, my aunt and Mum decided to take me there. You can’t really miss it coz there’s a HUGE Maybank branch in that area and Kofi Haven is right beside it. And right opposite is Nasmir Restaurant and it’s new hotel as well - 3 stars wor. No way you could miss it!

The ambiance is nice and cozy. And best of all is the service provided - I’m not saying this coz it’s my uncle’s place but it’s true. It’s very professional and I was very pleased with the service I got. They have an array of Western and Eurasian food but since it was dinner time when we went, set dinners were on offer. They also have a variety of drinks there, especially ice-blended drinks which seems to be a favourite amongst the patrons. The house special ice-blended is indeed delish! Sadly, I did not take the name down nor did I have the chance to take a picture of it as it finished so fast! But I did managed to get a picture of the cappuccino which I thought was pretty and definitely took some effort. Hats off to the lady behind the counter - she has a pretty mean streak in her and she sure can whip up some really nasty drinks! Be sure to check out those ice-blended drinks - especially the house special and the hazelnut one. By the way, the following pix were taken with my OLD camera so forgive me coz they don’t do the cafe any justice! Also, I had to get them all to hold on before they tucked in as I wanted to take pix of the dishes - I can assure you, my family was not amused at all!

NIce romantic light

The front interior and also the smoking corner if I’m not mistaken. They also have a small children’s corner for kids to play around in.

Pan Fried Fish FIllet with Lemon and Butter Sauce

Mum tried the Pan Fried Fish Fillet with Lemon and Butter Sauce. The brown sauce really compliments the dish!

English Roast

Cousin tried the English Roast which is beef with mushroom sauce and said that it was delish!

Eurasian Devil Curry

After having all the Western food in Sydney, I opted for Eurasian Devil Curry served with steamed rice and vegetable curry. Nice but a little bit more spicy would be good - then again, not everyone has a high tolerance level for spiciness so this is just nice.

Yummy!

See, the cappuccino so cute??? I only managed to take this just in time. As you can see, my aunty already had her spoon in it!

Overall, I’d say that this cafe is suitable for both family outings as well as for entertaining your business partners/clients as the ambiance is really relaxed and cozy. If you’re in the ares, don’t forget to drop by and check them out!
