I’ve just got back from KL as I attended my bestfriend’s wedding yesterday. I was there since 21/3/2007. This was the time that I was suppose to have a bloggers meet but thankfully nothing worked out coz I was pretty much stuck in Klang at Sha’s place, helping where I could which was pretty much jaga anak [baby sitting]. Sha’s second sister just had a baby and the little bub is just 3 months old. At such a young age, I’m pretty sure he’ll grow up to be quite a heartbreaker! He’s got such a cheeky smile and is always ‘talking’ to you.
This was my first time attending a Hindu wedding from the start [minus the engagement party] till the wedding reception and I really had a fun time trying out the features in my new digi-cam. I know that at first I wasn’t too happy about it since I had my heart on a Canon model but now that I’ve seen what this cam can do - I’m quite satisfied with it. I’m no pro with the camera yet and I know there’s a lot I need to learn but I’m glad that at this stage, snapping pretty much anything has turned out better than I thought they would. So tis all good!
As you can see, this was one of the features I used - this one no modification done yet. Took it as it was - this was the candlt light mode. It’s all preset. 
So happy me! I think I’m going to have loads of fun taking pix of not only stuff like this so I can be all artsy-fartsy but I can also knock myself out with Mum’s flowers!!! I’ve got many news ones which I am dying to share with you all but it’ll have to wait lar. In fact, I have some wedding pix that I would love to share as well but I need to check with the happy couple first lar. Don’t want to invade their privacy, right?
It was also during this wedding that I’ve come to realise how really small the world is! It turns out that Sha’s brother in law is married to an old bas sekolah [school bus buddy] friend whom I used to travel with while in secondary school. The second shocker was that Sha’s sister in law is best friends with Sha’s husband’s cousin as their fathers are brothers……:blink: At one point, it all got just too much for me coz I was under the impression that I would be a nobody at the temple but obviously, it turned out otherwise. I had people from my old kampung back in Johor coming up to me and talking to me after donkey years!!! It was really way beyond bizarre…..really. I’m still trying to digest it all.
Anyways, hope you had a good weekend - mine was fantastic seeing how many turns of events happened to me. Lol

That is an excellent looking design. Maybe in ten years when my daughter is getting married. Such a long time to plan for. haha

visi : remember i was going on a search for new cams? ended up with a casio one - not the one i had in mind but seems to be doing very well for me. so far no complaints!
