The grass is always green on my side.

Heater’s in the house!

Omg….we finally got ourselves a heater yesterday. I’m so happy!!!! :dancing: It’s a small one for our small unit which I’m happy with. To me, as long as it keeps me warm, I’m a-ok with it. It’s a 1500w column heater which runs on oil but we still need to plug it in. Ted didn’t want anything that drains energy too much - save the earth mar! :smug:

Anyway, we didn’t have time to set it up last night so Ted’s busy setting it up now that he’s back from his work. Can’t wait! Can’t wait! :dancing: :dancing:

Do you how tough it is to get your clothes dry when it’s cold and chilly? And not to mention that it also rains every now and then during the day? Very, very the mahuan! [tiresome] And although I do have a dryer, I try not to use it too often coz it tends to shrink my clothes and clothes are best put in dryers when they are semi wet as in when they’ve been out to ‘dry’ for a bit. Not right out of the washing machine and into the dryer - that would kill em’ in the long run!

Anyway, while Ted fiddles with the heater to get it working and all, I had better go get ready for my doctor’s appointment. I have to take a glucose test today and I think I have to fast and skip lunch! :crying:

you finally have your heater, yay! I turn mine on only when it’s unbearable at night, and I’ve been good so far. don’t want my electricity bill to shoot up, either!

my clothes have been on the rack for the past 3 days now, since Saturday night. still damp at the ends and folds. would love to put the heater next to it, but aiyah, electricity bill goes up again, and not so enviro friendly, hor?

    good luck in glucose test!

well we entirely use the dryer in winter, so far no problem with the cloth but its break even lah cause we save the money in summer and when winter comes, we hv this “extra money” to pay for the electricity.
