Ever since I got hooked on Miami Ink, which happens to be on everyday on Channel 11, on Astro, I’ve been a big fan of Kat Von D’s art. She’s about the only female tattoo artist who I noticed has really made it big not only in real life but also on telly. Kat’s really good at tattooing black and white designs and especially memorial/tribute tattoos of people. In another words, she can tattoo a pix of someone so real, you’d think it’s a real photo!!
If I had the chance….I would love to get a tattoo from her but sadly, she’s SO famous and busy that her customer list is so long, I’d be near old and gray by the time my turn came!! I read her bio and I’m pretty impress on how quick she caught up with a lot of other experience tattoo artist.
Not only is she talented, the woman’s gorgeous and sexy!! And very, very tattooed….
I’m so not surprised to see her so beautifully ‘decorated’. Jeles I!!

I watched the show a couple of times before and just so happened I got to watch the epi where I think she or another guy inked a man’s body part (somewhere) with a picture of her daughter. So beautiful. That type of tattoo I like!

heeeeeeeeey!! i saw one eppy of miami ink.. there’s one of the tattoos that was extremely pretty..it was a rosary which was given to her by her grandma, she designed it in such a way that it was an anklet, and gave it to the tattoo artist and got them to tattoo it around her ankle!! very very pretty!!

There was an episode where Kat helped a guy to get a potrait tattoo of his son who passed some time ago… damn, that was one heck of a tattoo… super realistic…

yeah saw her on our channel here too but i dont know where your episode are but she is fired i think by Ami James, didnt see that episode but she no longer with Miami Ink.

aida : yea, i read she got fired as well - not many ppl can get along with ami james so i’m not surprised. he may be a damn good tattoo artist but i think he’s got a lot of personality issues what with being in the army n all. he’s one scary dude wei!!!

horny : i’m quite sure she is! the more famous u are - ur prices go up for sure!! but then again, u’re paying someone to decor UR skin. u dont want to be haggling for price lest they get upset n do sh*t or something u know?

j : yup, tattoo artist can design ANYTHING u want but u have to give them the idea n space to let the creativity flow. n best to listen to them if they feel that some designs dont fit or is not a good idea to get - they know best!
dawn : aiyah!! get a small one first la. that’s how i started what….got a not THAT small one of the upper part of my back n there was no turning back after that!! lol my fren got a small one done on her lower back just for fun but she stopped la. guess it’s not something she wants to pursue but i’m a different story all together!!!
