Was watching Law & Order last night and it was mainly about this escaped prisoner who had taken a classroom of children as hostage and at some point decided to shoot them all point-blank for no reason. He was tried and since he was still serving 3 life sentences, he was put into maximum security prison until the next hearing. Right outside of the courthouse, he was shot in cold blood by one of the victims father.

The father believes that he killed the guy because it was justice and that the prisoner deserved death as he was a dangerous man also because he was going to be let loose. He did it with the peoples safety in mind. He pleaded insanity due to depression and post traumatic stress because of his daughter’s death.

But the prosecutors fought back saying that he was not insane after several mental observations done, instead he chose to kill and is considered a murderer as well. He knew he was doing something wrong and took the law into his own hands. Although the killer was wrong to kill those kids, what gave him the right to kill the prisoner? And to let him go would mean that it was ok to kill someone as long as that person was bad.

If you were the jury - what would be your verdict? Is he guilty or not? [I'll let you know the verdict in that episode tomorrow....]

Ps. I’m always amazed how lawyers think and talk especially during a trial, it’s so twisted! You know, must be darn tough defending the wrong especially when you know your client is the one who’s done the wrong.

Ever since Ella was born, I have been rather cooped up at home. Of course Ted and I have been out once in awhile for grocery shopping and what not, but I haven’t really been out on my own per se.

I also have difficulty getting to special mothers group because I don’t really have any means of transport as Ted drives to work and the bus doesn’t really pass that particular route hence, I’m home….all alone. Sounds pitiful but it’s true. So, the next best thing to do is get a car in order for me to move about more easily. Since I already have a driving license, all I need is a car loan.

With Ideal Car Loans, I can easily obtain it online as it’s fast and there is no online application fees. Although I don’t have any credit, I am still eligible. Not bad eh? I should really check this site out!

I don’t understand how a human can inflict so much pain on another human being and yet feel nothing while the victim cries and screams in agony. What is worst is when the victim is a child…..when I read this, I could hardly believe it. How someone could hurt a child in such a sick and sadistic manner I really cannot comprehend.

Another case happened over here too. A 3 year child was abused so badly that she died. She suffered under the hands of the people who were suppose to be loving, caring and protecting her - her family. What did they do to her? They used her as a punching bag, when she cried they hung her on the clothesline and spun her around and sometimes, they put her in the dryer. How could anyone survive such abuse, again I cannot comprehend. Why this happens is another thing…..and it seems to be happening to little girls.

Just a few days ago, another 3 year old girl was abandoned at a Melbourne train station. The little Chinese girl nicknamed ‘Pumpkin’ was left behind by her father who took the next flight out to US. Now she is in foster care but her grandparents will be seeking for custody is no one turns up for her. Since the mother has since been found dead……aiyo, pity the child…must have been traumatic to be left like that.

What is this world coming to….? Sometimes I wonder if things could get any worst and time and time again, such happenings prove that it can. It saddens me to think that Ella’s been born into a sick world….

I’m sure all of you know how much I’m into tattooing. I’ve always loved it and it all started with my Dad because he has number on him too. Before I had my first tattoo done, I decided to get a henna tattoo done and although the design was great, I was allergic to it and ended up with a rash.

I now know better and would suggest anyone who is interested to get a temporary tattoo to try out an airbrush one to get a feel of what a tattoo might look like on you. In fact, I think I should consider getting some gear from TAT Store what with them being the industry leader in temporary airbrush tattoo supplies worldwide. It would be great to be doing something I like. :) But of course since my artwork sucks, a little help with some airbrush tattoo stencils would come in really handy!

  • that male monkeys go bald in the same way men do?

  • that he cost of raising a medium sized dog to the age of 11 is $6400?

  • that the term cop came from England and it’s short for Constable On Patrol?

  • that on average, a movie makes about 5 times more from its video sales than ticket takings?

  • that a cucumber is 96% water?

  • that each King in a deck of cards represents a great leader from history ie. Spades - King David, Hearts - Charlemagne, Clubs - Alexander the Great and Diamonds - Julius Caesar?

Well, now you know and this is proudly brought to you by Libra Pantyliners. Who’d have thought that you could learn new thing this way, eh? :)
