The perfect home theater

I don’t know about you but if I could, I reckon that both Ted and I would love to convert one of our rooms into the perfect home theater. Being avid fans of movies, it would be a dream come true!! Did I ever mentioned that there is video rental store just around the corner? With a home theater, I’d most probably just spend the rest of my life butt plugged into my super comfy theater seat and pop my legs up! That would certainly be the way to live.

And to make it the PERFECT home theater, we would definitely get a specialised home theater carpet done up as well. If you want to have a home theater, might as well go all the way right? :)

Meaning behind my name

At least defined by the Kabalarians….

Although your name creates an interest in the deeper aspects of life, we emphasize that it causes a superior, interfering expression whose favorite expression is “I know.” This name, when combined with the last name, can frustrate happiness, contentment, and success, as well as cause health weaknesses in the heart, lungs, bronchial area, worry, and mental tension.

  • Your name gives you a responsible, reserved, and dignified nature, able to find a certain amount of success in anything you undertake.
  • You have an appreciation for the finer and deeper aspects of life.
  • Your scholarly, studious interests incline you to art, literature, philosophy, music, and drama.
  • You wonder about the deeper aspects of life contained in religious theories and occult beliefs.

Your full name creates the overall conditions in your life as well as your destiny. It is a very important factor.

Sorry, I’m not really in the mood for blogging. Been facing some inner demons lately and life hasn’t really been peachy either. A nagging headache isn’t helping much but thankfully I have Ella to keep me sane. O well, I hope that this doesn’t stop me from blogging though. I just paid for another year for my domain! :|

Quoting what Anjali said some time ago about me being like any other parent, force-feeding my readers into saying that my baby is cute…., well, here is your chance to do so again! Lol What can I say, I’m extremely shameless that way…..plus to me, Ella is indeed the most gorgeous baby in the whole wide world. :D That said, my baby is growing up TOO fast!! Just see the picture below…..

She’s filled out the bath……!!! Where has that tiny baby of mine goneeeeeeeeeeeeeee?????

Gotta love those rose bud lips - THIS is the look of a content baby. *burp*

Awwww…..this is SO gonna get framed!!!!  She’s got a killer smile, eh? Watch out, boys - she’s gonna be a heartbreaker if I dare say so myself. ;)

This was taken at Ella’s first ever birthday party that she attended at a park. Aren’t those girls just angels? Love the locks and those blue eyes on Dana! [The one on the left in purple]

The happy family

Another sign my baby is growing up. I was told that I should be expecting teething soon! Arghh……!

The force is with me….

I can’t believe it….I have actually sat through [most of it anyway] Star Wars 1 [Phantom Menace], 2 [Attack of The Clones] and today, the third one, Revenge of the Sith. It’s a miracle, aitelyu! For those new to Star Wars like yours truly, this is suppose to be the pre-quel to the actual Trilogy which was filmed in the 70’s.

To be totally honest, I had no desire whatsoever to watch the film, any of it for that matter, because it is a genre that I had no interest in. In fact, I still don’t fancy these space-y movies but because I had caught the trailer of Phantom Menace when it was first released [I was taken in by the Sith Lord with the Red Face], I wanted to watch that particular episode only. But it wouldn’t have made sense if I did, so I didn’t bother.

My first ever introduction to Star Wars was with Ted, he’s NUTS over Star Wars - maybe as crazy or worst than Che-Cheh or Wuching! I had come over to visit and he had actually brought his DVD player to the hotel I was at and fixed it up so we could watch the 1st of the Trilogy. It was a bad choice - I fell asleep within the first 10 minutes and I would drift in and out of sleep as the movie played and I made no attempt to hide my disinterest. Suffice to say, Ted was not amused. That was perhaps his most futile effort of getting me to watch Star Wars. He never tried again although he would asked me on and off if I watched to watch any of the episodes coz he has all of it.

So now, thanks to Channel 7 [I think], who have been airing the pre-quels the past few weekends, I’ve actually enjoyed it BUT only because the pre-quels are new as in not old fashion la. That was really why I fell asleep because I don’t like movies from the 70’s and back then the effects were so old fashion!! Of course I don’t deny that back then, it was definitely a revolution for special effects and the start of the more advance as time went by - that’s for sure but it’s just that compared to now, it was not very impressive, if you know what I mean? So, in my humble and personal opinion - and no offence to all SW fans out there, can’t blame me if I got distracted so easily see…? But now that I’ve seen the pre-quels which was all good since it’s got all these fancy-smancy effects and all, I’ll prepare myself for the old fashion effects in the next 3 episodes.

I welcome myself to the Star Wars side - not the dark side, ok??? May the force be with you!!! No, I’m not a die-hard fan yet and I doubt I ever will but be glad that I actually can sit through these episodes, ok SW fans? I know Ted was all smiles today because he actually caught me watching Ep. 4 today on telly which we skipped so I could watch Ep. 3 first….Ep. 4 can wait till next time. :D I have to admit that George Lucas was simply marvelous at creating this whole storyline….it’s really a fantastic plot. He’s got such a fantastic imagination and creativity…..hats off to you, sir!! :)
