The grass is always green on my side.

Talking about toilet paper….

You know how we all have weird habits….? Well, I’ve just discovered that I have 2 more but they are totally not related at all - thank god! One of them is the fact that I’m fussy with bread. I hate it when my loaf of bread gets out of shape when it gets squashed. In fact, I never pick a load that if out of shape. And when I make a sandwich, the 2 slices must match in the sense that they have to be put together in the order as they were in the bag that they came in. Know what I mean? Now on to the other weird habit….

I just realised that I’m fussy about how my toilet paper rolls. In another words, it has to be rolled ‘out and over’….not ‘in and under’. When Ted first explained it to me, my brain went all blank and I couldn’t imagine it until we made comparisons. At home, we do things my way and at his mum’s place, we do it her way, and we both roll our toilet paper differently. Not surprising that Ted didn’t notice this…hehehe. He also doesn’t notice that if he replaces the toilet roll the way his mum does, I change it when it’s my turn in the loo. If you’re still wondering what the heck, I’m talking about, here are pictures to explain :

My way….

Mother in law’s way…

As you can see, it’s VERY different and it really puts me off when it’s NOT my way. Funny how I’m fussy that way. Does how the toilet paper roll, effect you? Would you go out of the way to correct if it wasn’t going your way? I would if it was in my house but of course, I don’t mess up other people’s turf….I just grin and bear with it. But in actual fact, it almost every time hits my nerve! =P

Now, on to another toilet paper topic. Hehehe…sorry la, just had to bring this up since it was on a morning talk show on telly today. :) With Christmas around the corner, almost everything has a Christmassy theme about it. From clothes to decor to the more intimate things like TOILET PAPER. That’s right…..to make sure that the whole house is in sync with the festive season, some people go to the extend of getting Christmassy toilet paper as well….

Cute eh?

I think it’s really cute…so cute that if I ever bought these, I wouldn’t use it because it was just TOO cute! But with these patterns I guess it’s not too difficult to use on your nether regions. BUT what if the toilet paper in question had Santas on them…..? Would you still use it? What do you think of them?

I know that toilet paper is toilet paper but when you see Santa on toilet paper and you KNOW you’re going to be using it on places where the sun doesn’t shine…it just seems wrong!! I would personally find it hard to use toilet paper like these….what about you? Does it affect you at all or you just don’t care?
