What’s the worst thing that can happen to you at an airport? To me, it would be finding myself lost after the plane has landed and we’ve been ushered out of the plane in a foreign land, not knowing which way to go to collect our baggage.
To be honest, this has happened to me before and I can tell you that it is not funny. When one is in a foreign land and do not speak the language, the simplest questions become the hardest thing to face. That is why proper signage is a must. It must something that stands out, easy to see, clear, eye catching and particularly at the airport, it HAS to be high-contrast to ensure that it is noticeable. That is the beauty of a digital signage.
I hope this particular air port starts installing them too.

My uncle loves to play golf and I guess the amount of time that he spends playing golf, I am not surprised that he has actually got quite a number of hole-in-ones. In fact, he’s got so many that Ted is very impress by him. I used to think that gold was an easy game but nup, I think I take my words back. I guess it’s all about the swing which I’ve given up trying.
Uncle Bill’s birthday is coming up really soon and I’ve been told that he is in need of a new golf bag and I think I have just found the right one for him. And let me tell you that I’ve gone through a LOT of golf bags to reach this decision.
Hope he likes it as it would suit his clubs very well.

Aiyo! See la, still no time to blog!! I thought that I would have more time to blog now that mum is here to help me with Arianna but boy, was I so wrong!!!
All my spare time goes into catching up with mum so it has been very worthwhile and so, blogging will have to take a backseat once again. I must say that it is super to have a chance to talk to mum non-stop. After all, she is my best friend and that’s what best friends do. Anyway, this trip down has been budget all the way. We took Jetstar down and now, will take Air Asia to JB on 19/3 for Sis’ convo. She has completed her Masters and now is eyeing her Phd. I think she is nuts la but knowing her, I think she will conquer it with style.
So, we’ll see how it goes and perhaps then, I can make a comparison between the 2 budget air lines. Thank god it’s a short flight but we will be coming home from JB by train so it will be a LONG journey. I miss taking the train so this will be a brand new experience for Arianna. I hope she will handle it well, just as she handled the flight over.
Wish us luck!!

I remember not too long ago when I was working as an administrator and I had to organise a golf tournament for my company and our clients. Most of the time, I’m notified at the very last minutes hence, I am sent into a frenzy trying to get the venue booked, food and drinks prepared and most importantly, getting the trophies and plaques ready for the game.
I’m always on the look out for reliable companies who can provide me with good service especially when it comes to engraved plaques because this is something which I order on a regular basis. After all, who doesn’t want fast service which products that meet your expectations?

A friend of mine is into construction and knowing him, he can be forgetful and clumsy at times, which isn’t at all a good combination if you’re in construction but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know his job very well. In fact, he’s great at what he do and Joe can fix anything and everything under the sun. He’s that good!
Sadly, he is also a messy person and his van is in a worst mess. He’s always complaining that taking his ladder to the site is always a burden so I thought it was about time to tell him about some really reliable van racks. I’m sure he will find this a blessing!

I’ve been home since 11/3 but see, now only I managed to find time to sit down and blog peacefully. I’ve been so busy since I came home, it’s not funny.
Although it’s only been day 3 since I came home, I feel as if I never left at all with the exception that I just can’t get enough of hawker food. On Wednesday, we had brekkie at the new market near my place and I had a tosai and a roti canai, with a teh tarik gelas besar, and I still had room for more but I didn’t push it coz we were going to have lunch at *Kofi Haven, my uncle cafe later that day. I couldn’t believe that I was able to eat so much! I guess the portions back in Sydney has conditioned my stomach to be able to increase my portions and you know la, portions here compared to Sydney is simply so small. *lol* Yes, I am a glutton when it comes to food - I love food and I’m not ashamed to admit it. Heh.
After brekkie, we headed off to visit my aunt who has been under the weather due to some serious health issues. I must say that I could hardly recognize her but I could certainly see her old self in there somewhere. Prayers for her health and to regain some strength is most welcomed. We need all the prayers we can.
Then on Thursday, Mum and I were out half the day hunting and shopping for baby stuff including a bath tub for Arianna coz Lord know how horribly inflexible I am and bathing her kampung style has seriously taken a toll on my back. If you’re not sure what this style is, to me, it was the way my Mum bathe me and her mum used to bathe her. One sits on a stool with legs outstretch and lays baby on those legs, facing upwards. Then pours water over and scrubs soaps baby, in the same manner. Not being flexible is one matter, stomach in the way was another so I was huffing and puffing away trying to bathe her whilst making sure Arianna doesn’t slip from my hands. I’m sure all of you know what soap on skin is like and with a cacing kerawit like Arianna - haiyolar! Damn scary…..
So, bath tub bought and it’s a bright fluorescent pink one - such a sight really but watodo, no choice, then I got her some diapers as well as the clothe ones, a nightime baby lotion - smells SO good coz it’s lavender, and some shampoo. I also plan to get her a walker because seriously, it’s no joke lugging Arianna wherever I go because I can’t really leave her on her own now that she has learned to turn.
Today, my poor baby is down with the cold.
So she’s asleep after I’ve doped her with some baby Panadol. Hopefully this cold goes away before our flight to JB for Sis’ convo in JB. We got a direct flight from Penang to JB on Air Asia - I hope they don’t screw up! Well, I best get going now…..stupid dogs just barked and they might have woken her up. Bah!
*The has been a huge change in decor and the menu is fantastic!! No joke - go and check it out yourself. It’s really nice and I recommend the Seafood Crepe. YUMMO!
