What makes a man handy?

A complete set of tools in his toolbox that he actually uses to fix things around the house! And I happen to know of such a man and he is in the family too. He’s an uncle of mine who can fix anything and everything under the sun. How he does it still amazes me because I wouldn’t have a clue where to start when I encounter a mechanical problem.

I’m pretty sure if he got his hands on some air tools, he could work wonders! At e-Tools, they have every sort of tool you can think of from grinders to shears, air ratchets to drills and screwdrivers too. I bet he’d think that he was in tool heaven if he check this site out! I better let him know about it - there’s bound to be something he could get online.

Jeez, I never knew skate shoes existed until today. Talk about being left behind when it come to the latest trend and fashion! O well, at least I now know what to get my cousin for his birthday that’s coming up real soon. Being a teenager, all I’ve seen him do is skate on his board. He’s got multiple wounds and scratches and yet, he continues this madness. I’m not surprised really - he must really enjoy the adrenaline rush!

Since he’s so into the sport, I’m sure that he’d appreciate a pair of new shoes, what more skate shoes. WIth so many designs to choose from, I hope that he will like the one I pick. As a matter of fact, I might even get a pair myself - I might not be a skater but I love to be on top of fashion and they really do look comfortable and stylish too.

No la, am not moving to a new domain or starting a new blog, although that’s not such a bad idea….anyway, it’s a great feeling to know that we are finally and so officially moved into our spanking, brand new home!!

Ted got the keys last week but the removalists came in day before yesterday and moved out all the huge and heavy furniture like the bed, fridge and what nots. All that’s left is for Ted to clear out the old place and we’re in business!! The only thing that I feel bad about is that I was not there to help him with the move. I’m sure that an extra pair of hands would really be helpful. He’s really a gem to do this on his own and I couldn’t ask for more really.

I can’t wait for him to come out here coz he REALLY deserve a break after all the hard work he’s been doing not only with the moving but also at his work place. So kesian!! That’s why we’re planning a short getaway to one of those beach resorts in Penang. Any suggestiong? Ted’s coming out here on 7/4/08 and then we are highly likely heading back home on 17/4/2008. So fast leh!!!! O well, thank goodness for Jetstar that I can come home more frequent. Hehehehe….now just have to keep my eyes peeled for the super savers tickets AND do more sponsored posts! Hahahaha…..

Elise has finally moved into her new home and has been asking me about getting a plasma mount for her plasma TV. I had no idea when she got that huge thing but it is huge and she wants to make sure that the mounts can handle the weight and size of it.

I couldn’t really help her much until I came about this site which had a variety of mounts for all your electrical appliances mainly TVs and plasmas so I’m going to have to pass it to her so she can settle this once and for all. It would certainly make her life easier too!
