Testing new plugin

Switzerland

I used to have this intergrated Flickr plugin install some time ago but due to various reasons, after the upgrade, it didn’t seem to work. So now, I’m giving it another shot and YES, it seems to work. :) So if you want to make posting easier straight from Flickr into your WP blog, then maybe one should give this a shot.

Seagull @ Food Arcade by Darling Harbour, originally uploaded by mistyeiz2.

Due to some glitches with my blog over the weekend, I dare say that I am the last to post my PH this week. :)

Anyway, I thought that I would have to pass on this week’s PH theme, “pointed” but apparently, I had *something* that could pass for pointed - a seagull’s beak.

I took this shot while we were having lunch at a food arcade down by Darling Harbour after taking my sis to Sydney Wildlife nearby. I knew that seagull are very daring but this was ridiculous!!

This bird literally flew up to my face to grab my food. I only managed to get this shot because I was almost done and was willing to let em’ have it for the sake of getting the shot! *lol* I personally freak out when a bird as daring as this approaches me but I put up a brave front for this - the lengths I go to sometimes!!

O well, was a good thing I did. Hope you enjoyed that, have a blessed weekend!!

Well, actually most people would not want to lug a laptop everywhere they go but my cousin is an exception. The only time he is not with his laptop is when he goes to bed, and even then, its there places beside him on the bed.

Ever since he started work, and his company gave him a laptop for mainly work purposes, he has somehow managed to weave his life around it. It’s really funny to see how attached he is with it but there is a sunny side [on my part]  to his obsession - whenever we go for a family function, I know I can rely on him to bring his laptop, hence, I get to go online! :)

Perfect vision?

I’ve always worn specs since I was 12 years old. And during college, I had spent more than half my time wearing contact lenses. But nothing beats that perfect vision that one could have without any optical aid and I miss it. In fact, I’m envious of those who do not need any optical aid. But I’m glad that there is hope for me to one day get rid of my specs.

I actually have my heart set on Lasik (laser in-situ keratomileusis) and I’m very excited about it. At long last, I can actually imagine life without glasses! :) I will have to look into this soon as I can’t wait to get rid of my specs after all, I can expect a quick recovery. And that’s good to know.
