I’ve always worn specs since I was 12 years old. And during college, I had spent more than half my time wearing contact lenses. But nothing beats that perfect vision that one could have without any optical aid and I miss it. In fact, I’m envious of those who do not need any optical aid. But I’m glad that there is hope for me to one day get rid of my specs.
I actually have my heart set on Lasik (laser in-situ keratomileusis) and I’m very excited about it. At long last, I can actually imagine life without glasses! 
I will have to look into this soon as I can’t wait to get rid of my specs after all, I can expect a quick recovery. And that’s good to know.
