The grass is always green on my side.

It’s a long and winding road…

Wow, I actually sat out 2 weeks of PH because I really didn’t have anything to share but am darn glad to get back on the wagon! ;) Although I have previously posted these shots before, they are exactly what the theme, road, needs.

This was what the road looked like as we made our way to Australia’s famous Blue Mountains. I kept my eyes closed for most of the way and opened them long enough to snap this shot. It was not only winding but the drop off the side of the bus was scary!!

Here we are, driving on the Great Ocean Road as we made our way to Melbourne’s iconic 12 Apostles. It was gorgeous there and definitely worth the winding road that lead to this wonderous getaway. Surprisingly, it wasn’t me who was carsick, instead it was Ted who was driving! How bizarre is that??

And just for the fun of it, some railroad tracks which I thought looked a little artsy…well, actually, I was trying to be artsy. Hehehe…

This was taken in Johor Bahru, Malaysia when we went home for a holiday. It was the first time in at least 20 years since I last took a train ride and omg, it will be the last too!! I knew there was a reason why we stopped taking the train. *lol*

Hope you enjoyed that, happy weekend!!

Vertiginous indeed - but the vistas are worth it.

That first photo makes you hope for an alert driver and good brakes, lol.

    Good choices.

Oh my - I have only been there in a car. Buses and winding roads don’t always go well together. :) But the views are pretty spectacular. :)
