Little Cozy Corner

This morning while waiting for Arianna to wake up, a music video program called Video Hitz played ‘We Are The World’. It’s been so long since I last heard it and wow, those singers in there all looked so young! But the thing is, whenever I hear this song, it alwasy gets me choked up and my eyes start to well with tears. Perhaps I should blame it on my raging hormones but it certainly almost always strikes a chord in me. After all, this single was made to raise funds to help famine-relief efforts in Ethiopia. And I guess that is what gets to me.

I actually never knew that it was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie - how very cool! Anyway, I just thought that with Thanksgiving around the corner, perhaps we should all reflect on how blessed we are and be thankful most importantly for the comfortable life that we lead. There are many out there who are doing a whole lot worst. So if you get a chance to lend a hand, do so.
