This week, we’re looking at the theme, blue. Not too sure what to expect the others to share but I foresee lots of snapshots of the sky.
But mine is a little different. I’m showing off my pretty baby girl!

Yes, even baby girls can wear blue.

Since I mention the pictures of the sky would be one option, I thought I’d join in as well and share my absolute favourite pix too.
Hope you enjoyed it. Have a blessed weekend. Cheers!
I got this in the email today and I must say that these words make absolute sense in every way!
The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself.

The average dog is a nicer person than the average person.

Dogs love their friends and bite their enemies, quite unlike people, who are incapable of pure love and
always have to mix love & hate.

If your dog is fat, you aren’t getting enough exercise.

My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That’s almost $21.00 in dog money.

Women and cats will do as they please. Men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. That is the principal difference
between a dog and a man.

Dogs are not our whole life, but they can bring some meaning into our lives.

If you think dogs can’t count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then give him only two of them.

Summer is just around the corner and everyone is busy getting into shape so that they get all nice and slinky to slip into all those wonderful swimsuits.
I am no exception but the only difference is, I’m a little shy and at this moment, looking like a beached whale so I won’t be in a skimpy swimsuit. I’d rather be a little modest and cover up but still want to look sexy.
Perhaps I’d get me a tankini but what I’d really like is a monokini – they are just so cute!!
Yesterday Ted came back with a bag full of kitchen utensils. I was over the moon! In the bag was a strainer which I had been harping about getting but keep forgetting, an anti-oil splash net thingy and a small metal steamer which opens like a lotus. Who would have thought that kitchen utensils as a presentto me would make me the most happiest wife yesterday???
Give them to me 2 years back and I would have chucked it out. Makes you really think about how life changes so dramatically once you’re married, living out on your own and have a kid. Perhaps those couples living with their parents or inlaws would not necessary understand the feeling, unless you’re the one cooking and cleaning, but heck, to own kitchen utensils have now become like an obsession. If I had a bigger kitchen cabinet, I could really go crazy. It’s all thanks to limited space in my kitchen that I have not gone bonkers and got me a lot of this and that which I *could* make use of but not necessarily *will*.
That said, it amazes me how my preference for gifts has shifted drastically. Once upon a time, a bottle of perfume would have made me happiest but not anymore because I hardly have the chance to dress up or go anywhere fancy hence, no need to spray perfume and all. I don’t really go clothes shopping for myself anymore also for the same reasons instead I spend most of my pocket money on Arianna’s clothes and buying provisions for the home. How bizarre is that???
It really makes you think eh?

Once again, I wanted to sit this week’s theme out – it’s ‘scary’ for the record mainly because I wanted to put up something that was Halloween-ish. But I’m pretty sure a lot of people are doing that and since it’s not really celebrated on a large scale here in Sydney, I thought forget it.
Then I remembered taking a picture of this following items and thought that it would suit rather nicely. Bear in mind that this is definitely something cultural of the natives in Sarawak and I really mean no disrecpect to the clan but I personally found it a little eerie and definitely scary since I don’t know what it means or stands for. So, if there are any Sawarakians out there who would like to enlighten me as to what they mean, I’m all ears!

On a more neutral note, I thought this was pretty scary too!

Checkout the size of that praying mantis prawn we saw at one of the seafood restaurants in Penang! That is HUGE!!!
*Wonder if I will be the last one to post up my shots at PH???
Aiyoooooo!!! The advert for Pink’s up and coming concert just flashed by.
She’s coming to Sydney for her new CD, Funhouse and I’m going to miss it AGAIN!!!
*Gggrrrrrrr* The first time she came, I was expecting Arianna and so, the loud concert was not the kind of music you’d expose to a developing baby. And now…..it would be just after Pacman comes and there was no way I could leave a small baby and an active toddler with Ted. *sigh* Plus, I wouldn’t and couldn’t possibly go to a concert all by myself la. Like so kesian only right….?
O well, it’s just one of those things I guess. *sigh sigh sigh*
