YAY!!!!
I can’t say how excited I am about this whole trip. It’s not only that we’re going home to visit loved ones but more importantly, we are going to celebrate Christmas, Kulim-style! I’ve really missed celebrating Christmas back home and to finally be able to be with my family after missing out on 2 Christmasses, it just something that beyond my capacity to express. I’m just simply over the moon!!
Although we’ve always spent Christmas here with family as well, Ted’s family is rather small and Christmas here is treated more like a private family function unlike back home where the whole jimbang [family and friends] congregate and have a blast, literally! There’s lots of people, music, noise, booze…and FOOD!!! Omg, just thinking about Christmas is making me feel so gedik-gedik!! *lol* That’s over-excited in the Northern slang.
I don’t really care if it’s far too early to be thinking of Christmas now because if you’ve missed celebrating Christmas or any of your festive season back home as much as I have, nothing can stop me feeling this delighted. Also, this will be the last time we pay air fares for 2 people….the next time we make a trip back, it will be for 2 adults and 1 child. That is if we travel before Pacman turns 2. So keeping in mind that we have Pacman to worry about next year, I don’t know when I’ll be going back to Kulim again. And that itself is a VERY VERY scary thought and I’m so pushing it out of my mind right now.
At this moment, I’m just counting down the days till we get on that plane! Now all I need are those planes tickets…..

I’ve booked the flights to KL and from KL back to Perth. Have not booked ones to Penang or Kuching yet till I have a list of people who want to go / meet me there.
I spent last NYE in KL.
Though next year, I might go to Japan just for a change.
I haven’t booked accomodation till I know when I am in KL / Penang and Kuching definite and I haven’t organised going to the Elephant sanctuary or anything else either.
