When ever I hear that a sale is going on, I normally find myself making a beeline to that store. I’m an absolute sucker for sales and as much as I try to avoid it, it’s just almost impossible. It drives Ted absolutely crazy! I guess it is because I normally walk into a sale with nothing in mind to buy but end up with at least a couple of items that we ‘had’ to buy on impulse. For most of the time, I make sure it’s a good deal before getting it of course, but it doesn’t mean that it will sit well with Ted. 
One of the things which I’m always on the lookout for is safety gadgets to place around the house to keep Arianna away from all those dangerous things such as power points, wires, sharp table corners and especially from the kitchen cabinets and draws. She just loves to pull open draws and cabinet draws and more than once, got her fingers caught. Not to mention the mess she creates when she pulls out everything from indise the draws too! However, the most recent product that I really have my eyes peeled for is a safety gate or more precisely an Expansion Swing Gate. This gate will not only keep Arianna out of the kitchen but also away from our newly DIY bookshelf which Ted has almost completed. With all those books just within her reach, it would be best to keep them away from her for now.
