*lol* I’m sure there are many pronunciation for this ranging from cucur kodok to jemput-jemput [Southern slang] to my very own, chokodok [Northern slang].
In the end, they all mean the same thing = mashed banana fritters, or at least I think that is what it is once translated.
If I’ve not mentioned it before, Arianna loves bananas. She calls them ‘nanna’ which funnily enough also sounds very much like Nana, my mum. Anyway, this was the first time she had them and when mum makes anything, needless to say, it was a hit…I’ll let these pix speak for themselves.

Inspection pass – time to taste test.
For the fun of it and in case I forget, this is the recipe :
Ingredients :
2 [big] bananas [coz here all big2 one]
5 tablespoons of self-raising flour
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 egg
Method :
1. Mash the bananas
2. Add all other ingredients in and mix well.
3. Heat up a pan of oil and drop in balls of the mix.
4. Cook till golden brown, remove and drain excess oil.
5. EAT!!!
