Ok, maybe I’m just over emotional over this, you be the judge.

Where I work, there are a few of us who are agency girls meaning that we are temps. For about 2 weeks now we’ve been working together and when you work together, you talk about life and such. I don’t know if I mentioned this before but one of the girls there actually lives in the NEXT street from me. Like where I’m at, she’s right behind me….where exactly she is, I’m not sure but the thing is, her place is just a street away.

What I find most weird is that, although I don’t expect her to, after she knew where I lived, she never once offered me a lift to or from work. Sometimes, we finish at different times so it’s quite ok if you can’t take me home. BUT we start at the same time, so how come she never offered me a lift? To me, it’s just plain courtesy. It’s not as if we are total strangers after working with each other for more than 2 weeks. Now that said, of course I don’t expect her to, and honestly, if she did, I would have declined the offer anyway coz I don’t quite like her.

It’s the principle [so to speak] that I’m talking about. If I were her, I would have offered her a lift even if I didn’t like her coz somehow, that seemed the right thing to do. Ajak-ajak ayam also something la! I think a couple of reasons could be because she also dont like me, she may be afraid that I won’t pay for my ride whether in cash or kind and perhaps, she just isn’t the type who offers lifts. Who knows eh?

O well, this is just me and my over-emotional side getting the better of me. It may well be nothing at all, but hey….going back to work definitely reminds me of all the crap I have to face when it concerns people. Gee, aren’t a bunch of loonies in our way, eh? :P
