Although it’s winter and it’s freezing on most days, I have my eyes focused on the coming summer.
When you’ve lived all your life in a tropical country, not many would appreciate winter much and summer is always most welcomed. I think the Aussies are more excited about it than foreigners! *lol*
That said, summer is the time I get to wear some swimwear although I don’t necessarily want to get wet. It’s nice just to hang out at the beach without going into the water you know? I’m so going to get one of those monokinis. Have you seen them? They are absolutely GORGEOUS!!!

- I couldn’t care less about Hugh Laurie or the roles that he had played in the past like in Stuart Little.

- Him wearing a bow tie was not a problem and would have most likely gone unnoticed.
- Him being so polite and emotional would be considered normal.
- Him being ANYONE else was acceptable.
Not not anymore…..watching Stuart Little the other day because there was nothing on tv literally made me sick in the guts!!! I couldn’t stand to see House all so soft and so emo and so polite and so….YUCK! Plus, doesn’t he look just O so good with that rough and rugged, and tired, and just up yours look? *sighs blissfully*
House has killed all the characters that he has played for me in the past. I cannot see him in any other character than him playing House. In fact, I wish that that was all he has to do. Just play House. I miss House….please bring House back. Haiz, when is the next season coming out?
Missing that sarcastic, couldn’t care less, SOB la….

I love parties! I hardly ever turn down an invitation because parties are fun.
My favourite themed party is Halloween. Costumes and playing dress up is just simply exciting especially when you dress your kids up.
This Halloween, Arianna will be old enough to understand to a certain degree what it’s all about so we are planning to send out some Halloween invitations for our party. It’s going to be so fun! I think I’ll dress her up as a little Jack O’lantern and I might go as Countess Dracula. Ted shall be my Count.

I love to bathe. The feeling and smell of a fresh, clean, soaped body really turns me on hence, if I could bathe 10 times a day, I would because it really makes me feel good. I love how the streams of water jet down and massage my shoulders and run down my body, cleases me and washes away the days grime and grit.
*Like so story storybook style eh?*
Anyway, my point is, at any given time, I would definitely choose a shower over a soak in the bath. A hot shower that is, cold showers are reserved for hot, humid days which there aren’t many of these days. I’m not sure why a lot of people make a big deal about having a soak in the bath because to me, what’s so great about wallowing and soaking yourself in your own filth??? Some even soak in the bath for hours on end - yuck!!!
That said, I will admit that the ‘thought’ of soaking oneself in a tub of steam, hot water laced with fragrant oil certainly sounds very good but it still, cannot la!!! I would still turn to hot jets of water down my achy joints. As a matter of fact, since we moved in, I have not used the bathtub yet. Even in the hotels, I hardly ever use the tub, in fact, I think I spend more time in the swimming pool than in the tub!
On the opposite pole is Ted who LOVES his baths and if he could have a soak 3 times a day everyday, he would! But we are not wasteful people seeing that water IS liquid gold no matter where you live, but more so in Australia at the moment. Water conservation is a big issue and everyone should save water where and when we can, hence, soaking in the bath is a luxury. I normally offer to run him a bath because he comes home late sometimes and a hot bath does help him unwind PLUS, my man deserves it.
So are you a soaker or a shower person?

Father’s Day is coming pretty soon and I’ve been cracking my head about what to get Ted. Of course it will be from Arianna but I still have to start thinking about what to get him. Buying stuff for Ted is tough because of his interest but this time around, I think I might have actually thought of the *perfect* gift.
I’m going to get him a memory stick! Yup, with his new laptop, an additional 1GB of external memory would certainly be appreciated especially when he has been busy with his modding. He is so going to love this!!

Ted thinks I’m weird because my drinking water preference. Like many people out there, though I think not many, I enjoy drinking warm water. This meaning that water had to be warmed that just luke warm. If you can see a wee bit of steam coming off the top, that’s perfect for me.
I never used to be like this. Although I was not one who fancied water this hot, I only drink warm water / air suam or just luke warm water. Or when I was back home, just room temp was fine by me. But ever since I came here where it and especially now that it’s winter, anything hot is warmly welcomed. I don’t understand how some people can chew on ice! Haiyolar….I find that extremely ghilu-fying. Absolutely spine tingling!
The only time I ever drink water from the tap is during summer when a nice cool glass of water is nice but even then, I still drink more warm water than cool and Ted thinks I’m nuts! *lol* That also means that my kettle is constantly on the boil because I don’t like drinking water out of the flask. I have this mind over matter thing to over come but have been unsuccessful thus far. To me, water ‘tastes’ funny out of a flask hence, I skip it all together even though it actually tastes of nothing. It’s all in the mind - such a freak!!
This seems like such a lame post but aiyo, nothing to blog about la and more so, not in the mood too. It’s not that cold but I seem to spend a lot of time on FB playing Scrabulous. So if you are free, come join me k?
