TGIF peeps!!! Wuah….this waiting game can really kill lar. Waiting for a whole week, stopping myself from posting up these pictures has been a tough act! :whew: But I’m glad its finally Friday. Today’s edition is VERY special because I.AM.COMPLETE ~ at least for now.

As many of you know, I got the tattooed image of my fairy done last month [12 May 2006, to be exact] and last Saturday [10 June 2006], after my first fairy was all nicely peeled and healed, I scheduled to tattoo my second fairy. I expected it to be a breeze just like my previous piece but boy, was I wrong! I’ve always thought that my tolerance level for pain was rather high but this piece proved me wrong. :worried I’m not even sure why. Maybe coz’ I wasn’t as excited about it as the first one or maybe the gap between the first fairy and this one was too close so, the body hasn’t really recovered, maybe coz’ the left shoulder isn’t as ’strong’ as my right, or maybe it was just plain freaking painful! I knew it was going to be a painful ride the minute I felt the first drag of the needle. It was pain, pain, pain all the way but tolerable pain lar. I mean, I’d be a total liar if I said that it didn’t hurt one bit but for this piece, it hurt a little more than the normal lar. According to Fun, for him it was easier and faster to tattoo but for me, not at all! May have been easier for him but it hurt me more plus the fact that it took nearly 4 freaking hours because we were constantly interrupted throughout the process! :grouch: I was not amused but I didn’t want to disrupt his attention further by stating my dissatisfaction. I mean the guy was inking me for LIFE, ok? So I just sucked it in and held on to every ounce of patience that I had within me. :rolleyes:

But doesn’t matter, obviously I survived th pricking and I’m back on my feet again. And here ladies and gentleman, the COMPLETE me, my twin fairies. :dancing: No pain, no gain.

First the designed is stencilled on. Took a long time to measure and make sure that the piece was aligned with the opposite fairy but I didn’t mind. As long as not senget [uneven]! :tongue:

Me wincing almost every bit of the way, even Narnia didn’t help that much. :doh:

Mandi means bathe in Bahasa Melayu and is one word my boys totally dislike. :hehe: You will notice that their behaviour instantly changes the minute I mention the words ‘mandi time’. Their heads drop, no more wagging of their tails and they pretend as if they can’t hear me when I call out to them. :rolleyes:

Both of them are different when it come to their bathe time. Zorro has always been the calm and sane one while Bingo is the wailer. He will groan, wail and whine when he is being washed/scrubbed as if I was skinning him alive in broad daylight. But the minute you place his head between your legs [as in pix], he goes all quiet and calm. That’s why I say he’s a hamsap [perverted] dog! :tongue:

Bingo in his ‘nest’ which is where we pile up the leaves in the garden and burn them. Makes me mad when he does this right after he is dried from his bathe! Irritating, right?? Nice and clean for a minute and the next, he’s got soot all over his body and face! :grrr:

Zorro under the table, ‘guarding’ the salted fish that we had put out to dry and Bingo [at the back] trying to figure out how to drag it off the table. :shame:

Bingo taking a breather, smelling the flowers….I hope. Sometimes he takes this as an opportunity to bite the piece off that seems to be irritating him. Terrible fella this one…very sneaky. :notamused:

Tis Friday once again peeps!! TGIF!!! :dancing: I am also celebrating the fact that my precious fairy is one week old!! YAY!! :party: I’m also glad to inform that it is 3/4 healed as most of the dead skin has peeled off on its own (Sic6sense, take note arr….NO picking the scab or you will destroy your Chicken Rice Shop logo LiverBird. :tongue:).

This week’s FF will be about that trip I made to Hutan Perhilitan Ulu Paip with my prayer group members. I heard that they had a lot of fun even after I left. That was good to hear because fellowship took place and Jesus did say that, “Where 2 or 3 are gathered in My name, there I shall be”. So that is good news for me. But one mangkok ayun [stupid, ignorant, brainkless moron] had to spoil my day and I manage to ’shoot’ him, if only it was with a rifle. Gah! :grouch:

Anyways, you’ll see what I mean in a bit.

First league of our journey. We convoy-ed with 5 cars in a row. Notice that there are only palm oil trees on both sides of the road. Notice also there are NO street lamps. Can you imagine how dark n lonely this place is at night?? This is also where my clearner woman knocked into a COW! Haiyoorrlarr….

Entering more thick jungle but with better roads of course. Tiger sightings have been said to be here. I made sure I had my windows up and all doors closed!

Approaching the final destination. We can already see the stream at the side but the path is narrow!

Finally, we have arrived and I immediately took to taking shots. Hehehe…..

:dancing: YES!!! It’s finally done!! Half my tattoo is finish and I’m SO VERY teh happy with it. I cannot wait to get healed and go back to get done again!! I love body art, you know? Did I ever mention it?? :thinking: Bwaahahaha…..

Appointment was fixed at 2pm and I arrived 15 min early [Was too excited, couldn't wait anymore] with Mummy and Sis in tow. They followed me for fun plus I needed a pair of extra hands to take the pix or you wouldn’t have the chance of taking a peek at me getting inked! By the time Fun got my design stenciled out, it was 3pm when he started work on me. I wanted to distract myself and it was a good thing that I brought my Chronicles Of Narnia [Book 4] along as I read 3/4 of while getting inked. [The most I ever read in one seating!]

The whole process took 3.5 hours with 3 breaks of 10 mins in between for both of us to stretch our legs and for Fun to take a puff. To cut the story short and to anwers most of the question which I know will be coming in :

• Yes, it does hurt. But pain is relative.

• No, I was not bleeding profusely although the needle was pricking me 3000 - 5000 times per minute. But blood, there was.

• I paid a good price for the work done. I am extremely pleased with the results and cannot wait to go back hopefully next month to complete the mirror image of my left shoulder. Mr. Fun RAWKS!! :peace:

The end result after 3.5 hours. Totally painfully AWESOME! O yea…:cowgal: [Can't wait to get my mirror image.... :drool:]

So, what d’ya think? Nice? :thinking: [Btw, my first tattoo will also be undergoing some touch up soon, see how faded it is?? Yuck!]
