[A re-type of yesterday's post, stupid connection didnt load it up when I clicked 'Save'....it was a good post. *Sigh*]
It’s finally sunk in - I’m back in the neverending cycle of eat-sleep-work-eat. Today, as many of you already know, was my first day on the job and I’m glad to say that I had fun. All that stress and nervousness for nothing! There were about 20 new faces today and our group is so culturally diverse! We’ve got English, Irish, Scottish, Fiji, NZ, Indonesian, MALAYSIAN, French [a sweet man who sit besides moi] and of course, an Aussie or 2 around as well. I found myself surrounded by many friendly faces and I’m thankful for that. Some have already gotten their cliques together but as for me…I’m still trying to fit in. Didnt feel as if it was neccessary to have cliques but I’s like to think that I’ve found 2 glas whom I can hangout with. One’s a chatty Aussie chick and the other an Irish lass - I just LOVE her accent!
There is also another foreign girl whom I like but I dont know what origin she is - must ask her tomorrow. I would say that she’s the prettiest of the lot - beautiful face with a cute attitude to boot! I could look at her for hours - but I didnt of course. Didnt want to scare her nor her baby!! Lol I think she just got pregnant or so everyone keeps saying.
Yesterday, it hadn’t dawned on me that I’d be in the working world again until Ted and I went last minute clothes shopping. I managed to buy 3 blouses and a handbag and got a good price on it too.
[I've come to the conclusion that women will never have enough clothes or shoes for that matter - you can throw in the handbags as well coz it's blardy true!] I was very happy with my loot but cant say much about Ted’s poor card. :secret: It was after we got home that I realised that I’d have to be waking up with the birds in the morning and getting ready to go to work!! :hypnotized: I had to be in the office by 8.30am which means that I have to be on the train at least by 7am. Knowing what a slow coach I am at getting ready in the mornings I set my alarm clock for 5.15am [it was suppose to be 5.30am but I'm a little paranoid about getting up in the mornings]. Turns out, I woke up just before 5.15am and waited for the alarm to go off, snoozed it once and was out of bed at 5.25am….rushing to get ready in case Ted got ready faster than me! [He only needs like 15mins to get ready for work - it's a miracle he remembers to put on a shirt!]
By 5.40am, I was ready and staring into an empty place waiting for Ted to wake up. So I made me a coffee and waited. It’s a wonder how slowly time drags by when you want it to hurry. But I wasnt that afraid coz I knew that Ted was sending me to the station before going off to work himself. He starts at 7am. Such a sweety isnt it? But only for today. From tomorrow onwards, I have to walk to the station from home which is about 20mins [less than 1/2hr] away then take the train into the city which is about 40min or so and another 10min walk to my office. All in all, I’d be walking some 30mins a day, which will do me a world of good seeing how desperate I am at wanting to lose weight. But I’m sure that this is also part of Ted’s secret diet plan for me coz it has been decided that I cannot take the bus to the station unless it’s a good reason, ie. rain maybe. And if it aint too dark when I return home, I gotta walk too. So if I walk both ways - it’s 1 hour a day!!! Damn….I better lose some pounds or I’ll give up losing weight and dieting FOREVER!! :nottalking:
I seriously dont mind the walking but today, I had my first dose of walking back…haiyolar!!! My calves and ankles are hurting & aching like mad!!! :crying: I’ve already booked Ted to gimme a foot and leg massage today - beh tahan wei…..tomorrow, I’m ditching those damn corporate court shoes and I’m gonna wear my boots. Heck, I got all dressed up today and some of them turned up in attire that was no where even near business, talk about CORPORATE! :grouch: O well, at least I’m getting an idea what is business wear here - it’s so different back home. Ever heard of short pants as business attire? Not back home but here, very common…maybe I might have to get a pair too after hearing rumours that summer this year is gonna skyrocket. Sydney is after all experiencing one of it’s worst drought seasons ever in 10yrs and I had to be here to experience it as well….:worried
Now, it’s bath-bath time….then, foot massage!!!

Tis the hour has arrived, where I say my teary goodbyes….
Good bye Malaysia….. :crying: Good bye my lovely and very fattening foods, I shall miss you muchly.
And HELLO SYDNEY!!!!
I can hear the sticky date pudding & gelatos calling out to me from here….fear not, my lovelies….I are coming!!!
This here will most likely be the last post I’ll be posting from Kulim. Since my flight transits at Changi Airport, Singapore ~ if I can, I may pop by to have a look-see. Otherwise, the next time you read me, it’ll be from down under.
One thing though, I’m not sure when our internet connection will be up but I’ve been forewarned that it might be dial-up [God help me! :praying:] so not only have I to practice my patience waiting for the initial hook up but also render lots of patience with super-slow Mr. Dial-Up. *pray for patience and sanity* :praying:
Till then my dears…..toodles!

Aahh…..this is a temporary template until the wedding is over. I think I need something that is more soothing to the eyes. Pening [headache] lar now!!! House is in a mess n yes, I’m still blogging!! Can’t believe I found time for this!! Mum would kill me if she knew…:whistling:
I even managed to squeeze in *some* time to download some new smilies which I plan to upload as soon as I get the .php working. Have to catch Che-Cheh and ask her how she managed to create the smilies that I’m currently using - her brainchild u know? :smug:
Oklar, back to my housework - TEDDY COMES TOMORROW!! :dancing:
Added : Hhmm….still got a lot of tinkering to do. I had actually plan to use this template until my wedding, just for a change but since I have so much positive feedback, guess I’m keeping it!
It’s far from perfect to me….still have to put in my ‘Recent Comments’ & ‘Recent Posts’ section and then I have my ‘Animal of the Day’ as well as my ‘Bible Verse of the Day’ so that ought to keep me occupied for awhile.

Just testing to see if my blog is up by some miracle….post me some comments if you see this up. Then I know for SURE, it is a miracle.
10-Q!
YAYNESS!! :dancing: Obviously my blog actually OK. YAYNESS! :dancing:  Sadly, I didn’t expect such a pleasant miracle thus I did not prepare any FF pix to upload.
Truth be known, I haven’t even started to write about my trip! :nailbiting: I’m at this cross-junction where I’ve got 3 to 4 entries to blog about but don’t know where to start or how to start AND I can’t find the time. I feel like all my ideas are congested and knotted up like a ball of yarn in my brain and I’m finding it hard to pick out the knots and arrange them into a post. Does that make any sense at all? :hypnotized:
Anyway, it’s good to know that my blog is still ok….either that or because of the time difference [I'm using Aplus.net to park my domain name], the effects have not taken place yet. :hehe: If it’s all ok tonight, I will try and post up some pix to fulfill my FF treat for all of you.

After celebrating my one year blogging yesterday, JoeC pretty much made me feel all so celebrity- like by bombarding me with a mouthful of questions. After first I was overhelmed by it but thought, kawan mya pasal [for friendship sake], I’ll answer his pretty tough, brain picking questions.
Question 1 : Many many happy wishes to you today on your blogging milestone, did you ever anticipate that you will be blogging 4 a year?
When I first started out, 1 year seems so far away and was actually looking forward to touch that 1 year mark. Glad I did! :whew:
Question 2 : What was your high points and low points in your blog journey?
High points : I feel extremely proud of myself [Ms. High & Mighty to you!] when I managed to tweak something and my blog doesn’t blow up in my face [not literally but you'll know that I screwed something up when my template goes all wonky OR you see a new template! :whistling:] So, learning new things about how my template works is pretty much one factor or incentive. The other is seeing [lots of] people commenting and leaving with me [most of the time] with postive messages. That’s REALLY motivating and leaves a feel-good impression on me, so I ain’t complaining.
Low points : When I screw up my blog with my meddlesome-ness and itchy fingers, and it gets busted because of me. [I then have to go search for my Rescue Ranger, Boringest who also happens to be my Webhost ~ see my side bar, I promo him to the MAX!!] And when I’m hit with writer’s block which I think is one of the biggest fears for any blogger. However, not all bloggers face this problem. Lillian Chan doesn’t have this problem. Edrei doesn’t have these problem and this is just to name a few.
Question 3 : What improvements you like to make to enhance your blogging experience even more in the future?
Wah…this one is a toughie! Maybe try to be more creative and write more juicy, sex-S&M related entries on my daily life and at the same time, maintain a certain shroud of mystery? [Like as if you don't already know what and how I look like! My cover blown out of proportion edi lor!!]
Question 4 : Have you give offerings to the blogging gods this morning for a peaceful blogging season?
Eeehh….errrm…is this even a related or valid question? But so far, I don’t think I’ve made any enemies in the blogsphere. I’m a very peaceful, tak cari pasal [troublemaker-less] blogger who tries my very best to stay out of trouble and avoid getting flamed. In short, I mind my own business. :peace: Thus, mind own business = peaceful blogging atmosphere.
Question 5 : How many bloggers it takes to change a light bulb?
None. Who needs a light bulb when our monitor screen provides more than enough light?? [Gawd, that was a lame answer!!]
Question 6 : If a blogger falls down, will other bloggers hear him?
If jatuh gedebuk macam buah cempedak [falls down like a ripenned jackfruit from the tree], YES! :silly:
Aahh….finally finished! Now, I can de-celebritise myself and return to the really, down-to-earth-dirt, Yvy that I am. :cowgal: On with the blogging!!
WOOT…
Ppsstt…I just had a brilliant idea [maybe not]!! If you’re going to celebrate your 1 month or 1 year blog anniversary, take this up. I hereby dub this Q&A, JoeC’s Q&A. Then again, it’s not confined to just those celebrating their blog anniversaries….it’s open to all, especially those who just move to new ‘home’. [LB, May, BJ & Khor....take this up?]
