Omg…I can’t believe it!! I’m ONE today!!! :dancing: [Thanks to my Khor, Jerry @ Simple America for reminding me indirectly coz he moved to a new home. :love:]

And the best part is….I JUST REALISED IT!! *Slaps forehead then proceeds to open a bottle of Absolut and passes it around for everyone to take a swig ~ Hic!*

Wow….can’t believe I’ve been blogging for one year / 365 days / 8,760 hours / 525,600 minutes. :daydream: So shocked am I that I’m speechless. Heh. :tongue:

Thus, I think the best thing to do now is to walk down memory lane….back to the first day I found out what blogging was all about….

I never knew what a blog was until Friendster introduced it as part of their new upgrade or watchamacallit, I called my first born ~ Yvy’s Special Space.

But Friendster’s republishing rate was superbly slow that I couldn’t take it and somehow, I found out about Blogger. [Can't remember how either.] And I named him, It’s All ABout Me, Myself & I. My very first official commentor was none other than my sweet, loving Teddy bear himself. :kiss and my bestest friend ever, Sha. I held on to Blogger for about 6 months before it finally got to me. Plus I won 6 mths of free hosting thanks to Jeremy S. for being sucha sport and giving us that big pressie for being the first 10 early birds at my first Blogger meet in Gurney Plaza back in August 2005.

Seeing so many people literally having a place to call their own, I succumbed to the temptation and thus, my youngest baby was born. I named him, Little Cozy Corner. I officially had him on 31st August 2005 [Easy to remember coz it's our National Day.]

Here’s hoping to many more entries, FF’s and sharings! Thank you for being with me all the way…especially those who were with me since the early days. [Now, I fee like I'm giving some Grammy Awards speech!! Yikes!] The show must go on…*like real only lar!*

Important Note : I finally managed to import my Blogger into WP!! :dancing: [See, see...my archives so long? :battlingeyelashes:] And all it took was 3 clicks and 15 minutes. Aiyyooo…..:rolleyes: To think that I was going on and on and on, whining and whining to almost everyone [particularly LB, May, BJ & Khor] who had moved sucessfully, that I was unsuccessful at it…bah!! Sometimes I could just smack my own bum! :grrr:

Aye, this is the new look I’ve come up with. I really couldn’t take the pink anymore although I thought it was femine but it was just too air bandung for me. Did a lot of searching this morning and found a lot of themes and tried them all out that Pras @ Centerpide thought that I had different themes for different pages. Haha!! But no lar, Pras…I’m not that dahsyat.

I’m thinking of creating a header for this theme since I can’t fit in my tagline so here’s hoping that with some miracle, it will happen. One day.

I wanted to post this last night but didn’t manage to so here’s just announcing that I’m very happy to finally find out that what I’ve been hoping and praying for for a long time has finally come true (besides getting married to a wonderful man). Now, it’s only up to him to decide if he’ll do it for me. Do keep your fingers cross for me.

Air bandung = Typical Malaysian soft drink made of rose syrup and evaporated/skimmed milk which is REALLY pink. Ugghh!

Dahsyat = Malaysian lingo for good at doing something.

If you have been an ardent fan *ahem*…..you would have noticed that my blog was down almost the whole of yesterday. I think there was even a little note from my Server Administrator announcing that my blog would be back soon. *So sweet of him* Well, people….I AM BACK!

I just recently moved from my free-hosting given by Jeremy during my first blogger meet in Gurney. The first 10 early birds got free-hosting from Jeremy for 6 months. (I firmly believe for the first time since I started �€˜stalking’ LB, I was first in line!) My sincere thanks to Jeremy for being such a kind soul that day and gave me, particularly this great gift. Now, I’m hooked on blogging! Hahaha….

Ok, now on to my pimping! My new web-host is none other than….

BORINGEST!!

You will notice almost immediately what stands out on this page….yup, those little red fonts are dead give aways! I won’t be talking about what they provided, I’ll let them (Pandaboy & Boringest) do the talking when you sign up with them. (See how optimistic I am??)

I know that most of you will say (and they told me this too from experience), you get what you pay for. In most cases, I would totally agree with you. But I see it this way, the service that they are offering is VERY cheap and I believe, reliable. Even if by any chance (which is almost next to nil), something goes wrong, you’d only be blowing a mere few tens as compared to some of the hosts out there which are costing a few hundreds. Of course all these depend on the needs of your blog or site. Don’t think if you have traffic as high as those high profile bloggers, you can get away with a small fee lar! Lol

Personally, on my part and based on the service I got from them, I think they were VERY helpful. Boringest help transfer everything for me. He even answered almost every single thing I had in mind (and it was not just 1 or 2 questions, mind you!). I’m a chicken when it comes to IT and since I wanted to know ~ I asked! And thus says the Lord, ‘Ask and you shall receive’ and, indeed I did receive. He was even kind enough to put up a temporary page in case some of you missed me over the weekend and saw my site was down, I’m sure it was better to be greeted with a simple WP page instead of nothing right? Sorry for that though ~ temporary only mah….

But now, I’m BACK! And my advice is…..if you’re planning on moving from what ever blog site u’re using be it journal live or blogger then maybe you should give these guys a shot! Just tell them Yvy sent you.

Ps. Be sure to always backup your posts. Can never know when shit happens and it’s far too late when you’ve been crapped on.

Hey hey hey!!

GONG XI FACAI!! I can hear the crackers going off now from practically all the homes over here and my dogs are NO WHERE to be seen. Poor babies! Must be hiding under the car and hanging on to my tires for dear life. I bet they must think it is the end of the world or something. It is their first time celebrating CNY. 1 1/2 months before they turn 1. So fast, kan?

And while they are worrying their bums off about the end of the world, I have been busy myself. I decided to celebrate CNY in a different way. Instead of spring cleaning up my house, I decided that my cozy corner needed a face lift and voila!! My new template which I guarantee will leave you ‘high’. *Perasan*

Of course this was not a one-woman job - it was more like a one-man job. My most sincere thanks and gratitude to Pras for helping me out with almost the whole change - however, I have to take credit for actually successfully uploading and activating the theme!! Hahaha….YES, it is a big deal for me, ok?

Did I mention that Pras has a blog of his own called Centerpide.net? Well he, does. I love the way he has done his layout too. Nice n clean.

Well, now….I’m done for tonight. Happy holidays ya’ll…..
