Just when I thought I definitely had to skip this week’s Photo Hunters theme, hanging, since I couldn’t find that one particular picture I had in mind which was to be a hanging bridge amongst the mountain of CDs I have stored….I found more than I expected. :) Since I couldn’t decide which one to post, I’m doing all 3.

I can’t remember what type of monkeys these are but they sure are hanging off the edge just to get a sip of water. If I am not mistaken, they are a native of China. But I could be dead wrong! :P

These are spider monkeys and they are known to be very playful. And it is quite obvious as they are seen here hanging from branches, and swinging from one branch to another.

This particular shot was taken during the festive season called Deepavali also known as the festival of light that is celebrated by the Hindus. These stalls were selling lots of decorations hanging from the top which will certainly brighten up any home. :) They are very colorful aren’t they?

All three shots were taken in Singapore during my trip there in 2005 - it’s been awhile no doubt but the memory is still fresh as Ted and I got engaged on Oct 2005. :) Happy times.

Hope you enjoyed that - have a good weekend!

Hhmmmm…..?

Once again when I thought I couldn’t find something to share for Photo Hunter, I found this *today*, just now. :) The theme was pretty tough this week so that’s why I thought of just skipping it and go blog hopping instead when I remembered a certain picture.

What *IS* that indeed…. click here for the full sized picture and description. :)

Happy hunting!!

The ultimate SUPPORTer

*Something bizarre happened. I had actually prepared a post to be published at 11am today but apparently it didn’t appear and I can’t find it anywhere on my blog! So if there is a double post, it just means that I had foreseen the time and it posted at 11pm.

I thought that I had to bypass this weeks Photo Hunters theme, support, but turns out that I may just have something that can be used after all. Although I have used these pictures before for another sharing, it wasn’t PH so, should be just perfect! :)

If these pictures don’t bring across the meaning of support, I don’t know what will!

A personally signed football by the players.

These are merely his jerseys, I didn’t not include his beanie, sweaters and scarf!

Not even a week old and Arianna has been turned into an Eels fan. The family is seen here right before we were discharged from the hospital! Yes, we were still in the NICU as Arianna had to be put under the light for a day.

Today, Arianna owns her own hat, tshirt and bib although she isn’t in the last 2 in here. :)

I guess it’s plan to say that Ted is a die hard fan of the Parramatta Eels of the National Rugby League [NRL] here in Sydney. When I first met Ted, I couldn’t care less for the game but now….it’s blue and gold all the way!!! *lol* The game is ADDICTIVE. [Ps. I forgot to take pic of THE flag!!! O well...another day. :)]

Hope you enjoyed that and happy weekend!!

*Pope Benedict is flying into Sydney for WYD 08 today!!! Yiippeee!!!! :D

Seagull @ Food Arcade by Darling Harbour, originally uploaded by mistyeiz2.

Due to some glitches with my blog over the weekend, I dare say that I am the last to post my PH this week. :)

Anyway, I thought that I would have to pass on this week’s PH theme, “pointed” but apparently, I had *something* that could pass for pointed - a seagull’s beak.

I took this shot while we were having lunch at a food arcade down by Darling Harbour after taking my sis to Sydney Wildlife nearby. I knew that seagull are very daring but this was ridiculous!!

This bird literally flew up to my face to grab my food. I only managed to get this shot because I was almost done and was willing to let em’ have it for the sake of getting the shot! *lol* I personally freak out when a bird as daring as this approaches me but I put up a brave front for this - the lengths I go to sometimes!!

O well, was a good thing I did. Hope you enjoyed that, have a blessed weekend!!

Star light, star bright

This weeks theme will be the last one until I can actually find something that will suit the coming themes - they are hard!! *lol* Anyway, for Photo Hunters this week, the theme is bright.

Most of my pictures if not human related are mainly for artistic purposes. Whether or not they turn out artistic, that’s another strory but for most of the time, I do try. :) This is a shot of the wall light that was at our hotel room when we were in Malaysia back in April. I thought it looked really nice and well, although it doesn’t look all that bright, it did do the job to keep the room bright enough.

This picture was taken during my bestfriends wedding. As a Hindu she hads to go through many religious rituals and I was honoured to be there and managed to capture this shot. I love how the flames seem to ‘dance’ here. I don’t know what thing is called but I do know that oil is poured and the wick is lighted and with fire playing a huge role in the religion, this is a must.

Hope you enjoyed my sharing. Happy weekend!!

Another week of PH is here!! And the theme is….WATER!! At the moment, weather wise, it rains in certain places in Australia and on Sydney, rain comes and goes but today is a lovely day! The sun is out and well, it’s really gorgeous day BUT silly me didn’t have a load in the washing machine hence, I’ve wasted the sun today!! Bugger…. o well….

Here are a few attempts of me trying to be artistic. :D This fountain is at my bestfriend’s sister home and it’s a gorgeous water feature…

I wanted to put up the shot that I took at night but it’s not nice at all.

And last but not least, no water theme is complete without a WATER BABY!!! :P

Apparently, I have one right at home. :) Here’s Arianna having a splash with Daddy while on holidays in Penang recently.

Have a good weekend!!
