I know that it’s a great reason not to go on a diet but just because one is pregnant, doesn’t really mean one can go crazy and stuff themselves crazy, you know what I mean? I’m not saying that I am but I did notice that I get peckish really easy these days and find myself munching on lots of snacks. That’s really bad.
I try to keep them at bay but heck, no one can stop a pregnant woman from eating, ok? I remember one night that I was so peckish for something salty that Ted offered to walk down to McD’s and get me fries becasue I’m absolutely loving them these days. But I didn’t have the heart to ask him to do so because it was late and he had also just came back from a long day at work. Keeping in mind that I know I have to work off these excess kilos, I still can’t help myself. I know there’s an easier way like using one of the many diet pills out there, but I prefer a good cardio workout. I just hope I don’t faint!
Ted’s had his PC for a very long time. Ever since he got the new laptop, he has since ‘given’ me his old PC to play with and I’m quite happy with it. But since it’s a little old, I thought that perhaps it was time to upgrade the computer memory. I’m no expert about computers but all I want is to get this computer working faster and definitely get more space on it too. Being a mum of a toddler with another one on the way, you just can’t get enough snapshots! As a mum, I wish I could capture every second of her life but this is not always the case but I still try!
When I read this, I couldn’t help but laugh. I mean really laugh out loud, not just your ‘LOL’…I was like trying to keep it in coz Arianna was having her morning nap.
I mean, seriously la…..why the vacuum?? I know it’s got some super suction but heck, don’t you think that taking it a little bit too much? This really takes vacuuming to a whole new level….perhaps that what he was after after all. *shrugs* In any case, it have me a good dose of laughing. Heh.
Between us, I really don’t know how many books we own. Ted is an avid reader and although I love reading myself, I am not reading as much as I would like to or used to. I used to just devour books in a day or 2. Sadly, these days, it’s a miracle if I can finish a chapter a day! We buy all sorts of books from self taught books to inspirational books and some times, even textbooks. With many online stores these days, if you look hard enough, you’ll be able to find something you really like for half or less the price than you normally pay for. Isn’t that just grand??

This week’s PH theme is family. I think it’s a wonderful theme and I guess I am looking forward to check out what the other participant has got to show. For me, family is the most important. I am very close to my family back home in Malaysia and ever since I moved here, I still miss them dreadfully. However, I am glad that I have such a wonderful husband who thinks that it’s an absolute must for us to visit whenever we can. Hence, we will be going home to Malaysia to celebrate Christmas with my family and I am just over the moon about it!
I can’t wait to get on that plane….. Anyway, I couldn’t think of anything artsy or from a different perspective about what family is about. But here’s mine anyway :

A family of Eels posing with our new baby Eels.
As you can see, Arianna completed us.

Here we are, the 3 mosquitos.
That’s mum, me and sis. We grew up dressed this way and I love it although I know some people out there think that this is extremely silly. To me, this is a bond between us and it’s something that I am very proud of. For the record, my Mum sewed these blouses.
Isn’t she just pure talent??
Hope you enjoyed that and have a wonderful weekend with your family.
I must admit that this blog has not been updated on a regular basis. In fact, I hardly ever blog these days. I’m glad that I have Photo Hunter to help fill the gaps, otherwise it would be even more dead. It was only today I realised that I haven’t uploaded some recent photos of Arianna.
She is doing great and is now 14 months old. Although she is not yet walking, she has definitely been standing up a whole lot. I expect her to start taking her first steps sppn. Perhaps while we are in Kulim for Christmas.
That would be great!! The perfect Christmas present for Nana too. Anyway, here are some recent shots of Arianna. Enjoy!

One of those rare pix that I have taken with Arianna. Normally I am the one behind the lense.
See, I look like crap!!

Loving her bath! Everytime she takes a bath, we get showered on too.
Cheeky girl!

Apparently letting the whole world know that she’s got teeth. Actually, she was getting a little annoyed that I was busy snapping pix and not playing with her! *lol*

Like father, like daugher. She absolutely love her birds. She’s got 2 of these rainbow lorikeets that chirp when you press the belly.

And here is my precious girl standing for the first time.
So clever my busuk baby!!

Modelling Grandma’s work. My MIL is a rather talented woman - she’s a great cook and omy, she can knit!
I guess I can say the same about my Mum too. A fantastic cook and amazing at sewing! Why didn’t I inherit that talent???

In 3 words - I am Cheeky.

Finally, one of my fav - love her pose in this one.
My pretty baby…. *muaks*
